D.A.R.E.

The Van Wert City and County Law Enforcement Agencies have the Drug Abuse Resistance Education Program in their schools.   D.A.R.E. teaches children on ways to say no to drug and alcohol which some of our children today are not receiving at home.  D.A.R.E. is a self funded program.  The D.A.R.E. Officers have numerous fund raisers and other events throughout the year to help cover the expenses of graduations and other activities for our youth to keep them away from drugs and trouble.
