One of the Ohio FOP Lodges of the Fraternal Order of Police, Van Wert Ohio FOP Lodge 62 is comprised of more than 65 full time and retired Law Enforcement Officers of the Van Wert County Sheriff Department, Van Wert Police Department, Highway Patrol Post 81, Delphos Police Department, and other various Law Enforcement Agencies. Our Van Wert Ohio Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 62 is located in northwest Ohio.

For the last several years The Van Wert law enforcement community has experienced extraordinary cooperation from the Administration and Staff of the Van Wert City School system. With this in mind, along with showing the Lodge’s support for Country, Patriotism, our youth, and Van Wert Cougar Athletics, Van Wert Lodge # 62, Fraternal Order of Police has donated over $6,500 dollars to the New High School Project.
The money was be used to buy, install, and complete all of the electrical work and work order changes necessary to install a motorized 18’ by 12’ American Flag in the New High School Gymnasium. The Flag, which will be operated by remote control from the scorer’s table, will be displayed with the singing of the National Anthem before all athletic contests held in the Gymnasium.
